Gust saw the video comparison between Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland which was released in 2009 with his remake, Shin Rorona no Atelier: Hajimari no Monogatari: Arland no Renkinjutsushi (New Atelier Rorona: The Origin Story of the Alchemist of Arland).
This video shows how the character models and the environment has been made over. Character that made this birthday now more loyal to the original design drawn by Mel Kishida.
Besides improving graphics, this remake also adds a new event, and Alchemy battle system similar to Atelier Meruru, cultivation items, time capsule, as well as new playable characters (including Totori and Meruru), as well as new costumes.
Now players can cultivate items on the page are owned outside of Atelier Rorona and also store items in the time capsule, where items can be changed as time passed. This remake also supports cross-save and additional trophy.
New Atelier Rorona will be released on 21 November to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan. The first printing will be a bonus DLC costume swimwear. Limited edition PS3 version will be bundled with crystal paperweights and decal controller, while the PS Vita version will get a mini crystal paperweights and sticker skin..
