When launching the PlayStation 4, Sony
equip the new generation console with 500 GB hard drive. For most
gamers, a capacity of 500 GB is more than enough. However, there are
just gamers feel the shortage of capacity.
Realizing this,
the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 held this week in Las Vegas,
the company announced a new way Nyko accessories expand the memory
capacity of the PS4. Given the name of Data Bank, accessories PS4 is
arguably more appropriate than a hard drive dock memory storage devices.
Data
Bank allows gamers to replace the 2.5-inch internal hard drives PS4
with a 3.5-inch hard drive. It could be a solution for those who
frequently install or store data in the storage game. Because,
basically, a 3.5-inch hard drive has greater storage capacity, faster,
and less expensive than the 2.5-inch hard drives.
Although
placed on the PS4, PS4 Data Bank does not make look fat or disturbing.
The design is slim and adapts to the shape PS4 console makes the device
remains cool. Quoted from Kotaku, Wednesday, while Nyko awaiting
patents, Data Bank is rumored to release mid-2015.
Along
with the Data Bank, gaming accessories company based in Los Angles, USA
was also introduced other PS4 accessories, namely Type Pad. A device
that resembles a tiny keyboard intended for gamers who like to chat PS4
when playing multiplayer games.
"Our goal is to expand
what could possibly be used by the hardware game. This time, we chose
different aspects of our earlier console accessories, such as data
storage and communication devices," said Chris Arbogast, Director of
Marketing at Nyko.
Type Pad is used in a way to plug into
the bottom of the Dualshock controller 4. When the battery is depleted,
Type Pad can be recharged using a micro USB. Just as the Data Bank, Type
Pad is expected to release in mid-2015.
